Our client are looking to recruit an experienced *CNC Machinist* to join the team.

The successful applicant must have experience in programming a CNC machine using FANUC.

*What's on offer?*
* Up to £17 per hour on a day shift
* 7am till 4pm Mon to Thurs, Fri 7am till 12 (39hrs).
* 23 days holiday plus stats

*Duties & Responsibilities*
* Proven experience in CNC Machining of machined products
* Set up, operate, and program CNC machines with Fanuc controls to produce high-precision components.
* Use your programming skills to enhance machining processes and increase efficiency.
* Ability to programme using FANUC
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
* Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
* A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
* Filling out required paperwork.
* Complying with standards of safety, company policy, and legal regulations that apply to the product.
* Communicating with the rest of the Quality Control (QC) department so they become aware of any defects in the product and how to repair them.
* Have a strong presence on within the production areas and carry out in process checks on a routine basis.
* Reading engineering schematics and comparing them with the finished product
* Be able to work alone as well as in a team.
